HISTORY
Originally providing recordings of classical music, Boosey & Hawkes Production Music was formed (c.1937) as a result of the 1930 merger between two great family businesses. In 2008 Imagem acquired the Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishing company which included Boosey & Hawkes Production Music.
As part of the Imagem group, BooseyPM secured their position as a leader in the production music world, and have recently rebranded to ImagemPM to align themselves closer to the Imagem group and showcase what production music can do (have a look at our name change video here).
With an in-house production team whose commercial credits include U2, Madonna, William Orbit and Trevor Horn, the team have worked with a range of leading composers including Jody K Jenkins (Atonement, Nanny McPhee, V for Vendetta), Martyn Swain(Water Boys, World Party, Julian Lennon, David Bowie), Chris Blackwell (Robert Plant drummer, Grammy-nominated songwriter), Laura Rossi (London To Brighton and The Cottage), Dedi Madden & Robin Mullarkey (Zero 7 band members), and Gui Yo (Chinese Instrumentation for James Horner & Mel Gibson's Apocalypto).
There are also a number of star producers on board, such as Rob Mac (London's Scratch club night), Lewis Parker (Ghostface Killah), Flicker (Fat Boy Slim, Prodigy, Basement Jaxx), DnR (Madonna, Britney, Gwen Stefani, Kylie, Black Eyed Peas), Artificial Intelligence, Shux (Jay-Z, Sway, Lupe Fiasco, Jamie Foxx, Lily Allen) and Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith).
However, what really sets ImagemPM apart is our bespoke service. Recent releases can be tweaked, remixed or re-edited to meet your needs. Or one of over 100 accomplished composers can be commissioned to create unique music for your production, ensuring you always music you need.

Founded in 2008 by Dutch firm ABP, one of the world's largest pension funds, in conjunction with Dutch independent publisher/media company CP Masters BV, Imagem began by acquiring music publishing rights in a number of catalogues sold by Universal Publishing, such as Rondor, Zomba, BBC and 19 Music. This was followed by acquiring the world's leading classical music publishing company Boosey & Hawkes (representing the world's leading classical and jazz composers from Aaron Copland and Igor Stravinsky to John Adams, Wynton Marsalis, and beyond), and Rodgers & Hammerstein (containing the rights to the world's most popular stage and film musicals including THE SOUND OF MUSIC and OKLAHOMA!, and representing hundreds of works by writers including Irving Berlin.)
Highlights from Imagem's ever-expanding pop catalogue include Phil Collins, Genesis, The Temper Trap, Vampire Weekend, M.I.A., and Daft Punk.
