60 tears just rolled down our collective face
just thinking about what next month holds. Each one
representing a year that Her/His/Our/Your/Everybody’s Majesty first took to the throne. Right now, we’re thinking of waves crashing against white cliffs, of
rolling hills, a scruffy little lad with coal smudges on his
cheeks delivering bread... Oh wait. It’s 2012. So that will be endless queues of
people shopping for no reason and hoping they might
get on a reality TV show then. Elizabeth would be so
proud.
So without further ado, can you all rise from your seats,
turn to the nearest flag and sing your hearts out to… actually, the Euro Championships starts next month doesn’t
it! Right then, scrap that, the Euros have far more countries
involved and are ultimately way more splendiferous fun! Talking of Euros, did we
